We all know kids love getting the lowdown on the movers and shakers of the animal kingdom and this fun and fact-filled book really delivers.
The design challenge was to marry photography and illustration – a perennially difficult task – so I made sure the photographic and illustrative elements interacted as much as possible; layering them, being playful with them, and using them to tell the same ‘story’, until the whole scene felt well-balanced and had a unity.
